Sorry to hear that many lost their jobs yesterday and more will find out their fate today. How bad was it?
Number of managers and reps that have been cut?

Sweet severance packages make it better to get laid off than kept on.

I think Intercept has done a good job of taking care of their employees, but I feel sorry for people that stuck around!

"Feel sorry for"? Why? They are grown ups. It is a choice to stay or leave. "Stuck" pays $150k+ for working mostly at home. Plenty of people would love to be stuck in this position.

I was retained (not in commercial) and the absolute chaos right now makes me wish I was cut. Good luck to everyone on the job market right now!

Whiners. Still a bunch of grown ups that work out ahead financially whether laid off or retained. Come on people, either way we got a sweet deal when the green team was screwed with no KY.

Just remember folks, Rk and jd are getting paid millions in cash and equity awards. They overestimated our sales force needs then get to spend more of the company’s money to scale it back. And I’m sure they will get to
spend even more to hire it all back in 2021. You can’t make this stuff up.

Has anyone gotten a new job yet or in the final interview stages?

you’re right about everything except the last point: there will be no hiring it all back because there will be nothing to hire it all back for.
