We have Peter with a Town Hall on the 12th and Tres with a Business Update on the 19th.

My thoughts? Shut up. If you’re worried about it, save up your money and apply elsewhere. But stop posting on cafepharma about which date you think they will tell us. Like anyone knows or like it’ll make a difference

Thought Kaya said this WILL NOT be a headcount reduction? Did she or did she not?

Oh shut the fuck up you cranky ass. People here are sharing thoughts since we were only given enough info during the POA general session last week to make everyone curious, This site is to share thoughts and not have idiots on here like you trying to squelch opinions or suggestions from others simply trying to help fellow colleagues.

Have you ever seen a pharma reorganization that did NOT include a headcount reduction as well? Come on, do you really believe they are going to keep all of us here when we do not own our psych drugs and have Takeda and Otsuka managers and reps to contend with as well all in the middle of an ongoing pandemic.

Kaya obviously implied there would not be a headcount reduction, but that was simply to keep the natives calmed down during the Q&A. LOL

Be prepared for many of us to get shoved over into a demotion to primary care or remote virtual selling as she also was noted saying is under discussion as well. At any rate, there will still be a reduction and it will probably happen after Peter's Nov. 12th Town Hall so many of us are disrupted before Thanksgiving Holiday. I have two interviews with other companies next week and suggest the rest of you be looking elsewhere too. This business model cannot continue much longer here.

Find a new job calling on customers that see patients in person. The Psych world is NOW going to be telehealth ,as the outcomes have been positive(google it if you don’t believe me). Psych is perfect for telehealth .

My geography has roughly 60% access and improving daily. These providers prefer f2f with patients and reps alike.

OTOH, this is the most believable thing I’ve read and I don’t even know her:

Yes, as long as the federal and state government entities continue paying providers the same reimbursement to do telemed as F2F, they will continue to milk it big time. The CMHCs especially will take advantage of this as long as it lasts which is the death of psych. Sadly telemed, especially for psych patients, is a bad deal. How can they adequately be treating patients they cannot see in person, IE: personal hygiene, awareness of illicit drug odor or other drug-related issues observed, patients who may have bruises from physical abuse at home, etc., etc.?
