Why all the Weck haters? Is he really that much of a tool?

untimely? She deserved to go. There were many other women who had valid legal gripes and didn’t pursue it. She would be the last one id expect to win in litigation.

The email mentioned refers to the announcement that Tom Weck will be retiring at the end of the year. We all know this decision was not by choice on his part. Good riddance to bad rubbish as we say here in the UK!

Kudos to JS for pulling the plug on Weck. That turd should have been flushed 10 yrs ago! Better late than never.

Wow! Been reading through this post and couldn't agree with the posts! Weck was definitely the biggest A-hole J&J has every hired.

Weck's last day was Nov 26. Maybe now we can see some REAL diversity and inclusion in the LT ranks! He is just one of many good 'ole white boys in the VP ranks. His behavior at J&J was truly shameful!

Clearly you no longer work at J&J or you just like spreading false information because he is still with J&J. There was never an email about him retiring at the end of this year. That never happened. Like they say these days “fake news” I just keep seeing false info posted in this thread about him leaving which leads me to believe that you posters don’t work here or you are just Trolls.

I've been at J&J for almost 20 years and worked as an IT manager at McNeil Consumer in Weck's group when he was promoted to VP. I quickly left after he was abusive to me and several other female colleagues. Unfortunately, he was not terminated for his actions and somehow survived. Hopefully, there will be greater emphasis on workplace discrimination under Biden and characters like Weck will be dealt with appropriately!

Agree totally with your synopsis. He was belligerent and rude to almost everyone on his team when he was in charge of the Consumer IT group in Skillman. How and why he survived all of the complaints to HR is beyond me! I could not get out of his group fast enough. Fortunately, HR took action and moved me to Janssen where I am still a Director today.

He's featured in today's holiday message from the JJT LT, so he's not going anywhere yet.

The key word is "yet" he will be gone by April.

If you keep pushing the date out 4 months at a clip, eventually you'll be right.

I went to HR about him many years ago and they did nothing!
