So, it’s Marketing, not Sales. Just like I said.

And, I’m no rookie. Exact is just worse with the micromanaging than other companies I have worked for, and the job isn’t at all what they said it would be throughout the interview process. Don’t use the “this is medical/pharma Sales” excuse to justify how things are run. Exact is embracing a failed model that virtually every other company in this industry abandoned 15 years ago. And, I’ll take your advice - I’m already looking for something else. Best of luck to you.

I literally thought it was a joke when I was told that they make sure you open the Monday morning imbecile videos consisting of the most low rent videos of ba pretending to be useful or ms pretending he knows shit about cologuard. The fact they run lists on that is TRULY PSYCHOTIC and completely driven by a culture of self importance and retardation

So you're against reading your emails in the morning? What a pathetic excuse for an employee!

Be careful who you use the word "retardation" in front of, there are people who have special needs members in their families... if you said that within earshot of me, you will need dental services immediately!

Anonymous internet tough guy!! I bet that guy is super scared now that he knows words get your little feelings all messed up. You surely taught him a lesson!

And, are you really so stupid that you didn’t understand his point? He didn’t complain about opening his email; he thought it was ridiculous that Exact felt compelled to measure and report on who did.

Open the email every monday and shut the fuck up. Youre bitching about things that don't matter. Who cares if they track it. There are bigger problems in life other than tracking a fucking email. Grow up!

you said it yourself r***** there are bigger fucking problems at exact than tracking fucking emails and how long you read them for so why the fuck do the fucking lunatic micro managers give a single fuck if I wanna see Vic or Bobby fucking around on a football field or not. Makes zero impact to whether or not I sold a fucking test or not. And single this has been going on long before Vic, ms or ba was hired it’s clearly a control tactic from the prince himself, KC

That eyeless head of thine was first framed flesh
To raise my fortunes. Thou old unhappy traitor
Briefly thyself remember; the sword is out
    That must destroy thee.

You are correct. There ARE bigger things that senior leadership should be concerning themselves with. Instead, they’ve chosen to micromanage activity metrics and email openings as opposed to actually addressing our larger strategic and cultural issues. And, we just keep adding more people into our hapless mess. Although the stock market loved our announcement yesterday, I think our friends from Genomic Health would tell our soon-to be new colleagues to be prepared for a very bumpy ride when we “integrate” them into Exact. The best thing that will happen is that MS’s influence on total company performance will be diluted a bit more when we add a new business unit. The rest will be our typical dumpster fire.

If you knew anything about this organization, you would know that was DR thing and everyone who worked for DR loved the videos on Monday's. Your envy for KC is on display, don't try to hide it so much. You are a disgrace for a human being.

Get Jason Jester out ASAP before you see a mass exodus on the GI side. He lies. Says one thing to your face and then denies it when pushed or questioned. Watch your back with this guy. He cares about himself and himself only. Will stab you in the back at any time.

You mean I shouldn't be working for a 27 yr old PMR who has no leadership experience???

I know I should laugh and act like that’s not true, but I know it is. We promote people to the next job because we think they were good at their last one. A recipe for disaster.

Why are there so many territory sales openings ???

I don’t want to apply if it’s going to be a nightmare of a job

It's the easiest sales job in the industry. The product sells itself, all you have to do is show up and work a full day consistently. And even if you don't, you will be in good company. Most people here put in half days.

This, coupled with the ineptitude at home office, is why this company does well, but will never be great.
