Here's the truth...if his name is David S, then you might want to run for the hills. Expectations are unrealistic, worst micromanager ever (unless you're ok with calls at night including sunday nights to discuss where you're going for the week). His turnover tops the nation but he gets results at the expense of your central nervous system for about 18 months then you quit because you can't take it.

BS from a negative rep who probably couldn’t handle working 8 hours per day. DS is one of the best leaders left in this organization.

I don't care who you are, I am not taking any business calls on Sunday night or after work hours for that matter.

The "best leaders" do not have 15 to 18 people leave on their own in a 3 year period

Are you desperate for a job? Coming to a company on the brink of bankruptcy doesn’t seem smart.

Houston position is still posted. Is it being filled? I applied some time ago and haven’t heard back.

The Houston job was to sell Austedo in Psychiatry.

Does anyone know what is going on with this job? This one and Dallas have been posted for quite some time.

Usually if a position goes unfilled for a long time it's because the manager thinks he has a special job to fill and is looking for a unicorn. Usually a very bad sign for happiness if you even get the job. I would definitely look elsewhere. It's not like this company has a bright future. Seen the stock?

David S is a total nightmare! Texts start at 5 am and go until after 11 pm. He requires 30 minutes of professional development reading AND 30 minutes of clinical development every day in addition to eight hours of field time. He expects three meal events each day and rewards the rep who spends the most money each quarter. And you’d better believe he will go through your calls and verify each one with the offices. He motivates through fear and rides his reps asses until they can’t take it anymore. When his reps go after promotions, he takes it personally and punishes them for wanting to leave him. He has been investigated by HR multiple times due to his unethical and illegal behavior, but they won’t fire him because of his sales track record.

Just ask around about him. Ask specifically how many reps have left just in the last 3 years. Then ask about 5 years. Truth is, his area will always perform well. It’s TX and the coverage/access is unbeatable in most cases. Historically, it’s been younger reps in his area who will tolerate his bullshit because they are young and naive. Until they don’t tolerate it anymore.
These types of managers win consistently because of their geography. I’m sure he has some redeemable qualities but he does that shit to reps so he has a story to tell for his success. The more ‘things’ you make your reps do, the better the case for your big moment when you are the only standing in a room of 250 people as the 10x presidents club winner. Yeah, I’d rather be a good person, role model, and leader than have titles.

Sounds like a disgruntled old jealous Copaxone TN legacy manager who is still jealous. Go cry to Genatone or Lashley

I have heard this about him from numerous people. Teva does not pay enough for this level of abuse. He is not the only manager that gets aroused by the power they yield over their reps. A few are running a close competition with David S. Several other s have a high turnover rate due to their tactics. They think it's all about them, not the patient or the reps. Best to look elsewhere than deal with it.
