Stay home. If they harass you, call the newspaper.

And say what? They wouldn’t pay for me not doing my job expectations? It’s not that easy. If they say back in the field and you say no, no more job.

That is not true. There are people who have been working virtually 100%, with no repercussions. Abbvie needs to tread carefully in this situation. The playbook states personal readiness is part of field re-entry. Sticky waters here for AbbVie to force reps in the field, especially now cases have skyrocketed. They dont need another round of bad press.

What Abbvie should do is release all current reps and recruit grub hub reps for 25% of current salaries with no benefits.

And personal readiness is kosher with HR and managers long term? I think not!

Nope. Field rep. Stay 6 feet away from your docs, wash your hands, go virtual when you can.

With whats going on right now with Covid they cannot push people in the field who have concerns. The 2 weeks after Thanksgiving will be a covid fest

I can’t believe they haven’t pulled us from the field. It’s so bothersome that DMs can come conduct field rides spreading whoever they’ve been in contact with to the rep then spreading that to the offices (if even any) encountered. Clearly the company doesn’t care to put us or our loved ones in danger. So disheartening to work for a company who would rather us be out there making them money than concerned about the super spreading that could be happening by reps in a health crisis. Hell, there are 6 reps just in our territory, think about all those contacts at each office

Simple solution. If it is that concerning to you then go find another company to for. Also what are you 10 years old if you think any company gives a rats ass about you. It is all about the stock holders.

They could care less if you get Covid and kick the bucket. They will send flowers to your house and immediately search for a replacement that is a better fit for their diversity requirements. Reps act like 10yr olds, managers act like 5yr olds. Keep on grinding!

Please reevaluate the current situation and address the field reps. Why the silence Abbvie?

Remember they made us essential workers overnight so the stay at home orders do not apply.

If anyone feels uncomfortable we can call HR and let them know. That is an option in the Covid playbook and they cannot retaliate. In some parts of the country now its really stupid to expose yourself, patients and physicians.

Uh when did the make us essential workers? As I recall we were all pulled in March for NOT being essential workers.

Abbvie designated us as essential workers right before they sent us back into the field. Elaine and Rick both spoke to it on that first call.

Sales dipped (because patients not going to Drs, not because we weren't there) So they made us essential workers without notice while they all work remotely.

So managers can't ride with in the same car as reps, can't have lunch in a restaurant with us, but can stand practically shoulder to shoulder in a hallway or sample closet or lunchroom with us? Think I can say to this person step back a bit, you're crawling up my ass? Nope. Would that simple act for my own general safety change that field ride for the worse? Yes. You can't say anything and their past political comments make that clear. And before you say anything, yes at least 1 manager has already had Covid.

I'm sure there are managers out there that don't want to go in the field. However, the majority of managers are kiss asses and do whatever they are told. There is not one office that is happy to see 2 people walking in. I'm surprised more don't prohibit that.
