Keeping with AZ traditions, they notified the sales force by email today to sit by the phone tomorrow. They have done this before, the less than 24 hour layoff notice. When will The Looneys at Lundbeck do the same?

 

Nothing will change at Lundbeck. We will continue on course. Our me-too portfolio will just keep humming along. Just keep on entering your fake Veeva shit, make an office call every now and then, and enjoy our never-ending vacation. Lundbeck is incapable of making complicated reorganization type decisions. Hell, these are the idiots that paid $2,000,000,000 for Alder!

 

This essentially started their warn period. They are paid until end of February and after that their severance kicks in.

 

Looks like it was a blood bath at AZ. HEARD Pfizer is setting up a huge virtual sales force and getting ready to pull the trigger with a layoff.

 

Pfizer already went through a layoff about a month ago.

 

So fun seeing the myopic asshats get the can at AZ. Can’t stand their culture. I hope my former boss bawled her eyes out when she got the call.

 

The underlying issue (COVID is the scapegoat) is Trumps drug prices. It’s going to have a big impact on pharma. We got 6-12 months and it’s done.

 

Our me-too drugs probably won’t be affected. I won’t feel safe to go back full time in the field until another couple of years have gone by. I want to see herd immunity first, so maybe around 2025 it should be good. Have a great weekend everyone, got to go for my 25 mile bike ride!

 

I think we will have longer than 6-12 months especially if you are launching a new drug (as long as it doesn’t get pulled off market). Sales will always be around but the days of pods, 2-3 per territory, are getting far fewer.
