If you quit, are RIFd, or are terminated after January 1 do you still receive your end of year bonus? I didn’t get a straight answer from HR. This is for a discovery research scientific position.
I left mid-quarter and received my pro rated bonus for the time I worked within the quarter. I believe in the state of CA you have to be paid for the time your worked.
Normally I would say yes, but I’m getting the feeling Amgen will be doing layoffs, offering early retirement and generally looking for reasons to cut costs starting early next year. If you outright asked the question to HR and they didn’t say yes, we should all be concerned.
