I love going into the office but for some reason when walking by the managers offices I keep smelling piss and shit. Anyone know if we had sewer issues in the building?

It was originally believed to be a former employee , but it keeps happening, soooo...

    who knows at this point?!

During the All Associates meeting, no one from the panel could provide a logical reason for wanting to have everyone back. And that is because there isn’t one. It’s just stupid leadership trying to show off they have power.
If Alcon is trying to prove it is a strong company, it would start by not taking unnecessary risks with its employees.

Bring people in for training is ridiculous when you can’t even figure out what you are doing locally.

Here come the jackasses that should be unemployed due to their sniveling about going back to work

Hey D. Endicott, you want everyone to be in office. You said being in office helps foster collaboration and innovation. During this week's GB&I call, why were 5 of your 6 leaders working from home? Is it a "Do as we say and not as we do" scenario, or just straight up hypocrisy? Realize most people are happier and more productive working from home.

I am happier when I can sleep in, go to the gym, take a nap. Work from home in the bomb. I need to get into sales those lazy types never do anything. They watch Jerry Springer every day

We “are back” on campus and it SUCKS!!
Not sure how many attended the stupid activities. I sure as hell did not bake my ass in the 110 degree weather! Why bring everyone back in the hottest season?? Why?
Fucking leadership is on a power trip. Not everyone can be remote, but why can’t those who had been more productive remotely remain as such? The work gets done! Better from home, in many cases. You are going to lose employees who are willing to take a pay cut, since you cannot put a price on life satisfaction. All the BS about collaborating is stupid! ELT has tangent proof that majority gets more done remotely. Instead, they have people driving in, cause we need more emissions, and wasting precious time. Alcon needs new leadership. Micromanaging is not a skill; it’s flat lack of trust in the employees and putting on a show for the shareholders. To show how well they are “leading.” Alcon needs to get with the times. This isn’t the 80’s anymore.

    you r not alone

How quickly corporations have done a 180

Not speaking about sales and field chess

But for many home office functions, productivity went up, way up working from home

But we have these old school, power tripping “leaders” who can’t help themselves

My company has sent out a letter that addressed us like 2 year olds and are mandating 3 days a week in the office

    Why???

So I can waste at least 2, closer to 3 hours a day... commuting, packing a lunch, picking out an office outfit, having big brother look over my shoulder

As soon as I find a 1x week or 100% remote job, I am leaving my current company

Your claim of increased productivity from home is utter bullshit

What planet are you from? Medical Safety had stats showing that employees were more productive on days working from home. Napoleon chose to ignore them.

But wait, there’s more! Yes, more ‘welcome’ activities. So called ‘social hour’ but you must social distance. You can’t sit with others in the cafe, you can’t mingle with anyone, unless you wear a mask… you might as well left us remote. All of the buildings are essentially deserted. It’s like working in a ghost town. We got more social Interaction during Webex meetings. It’s just an overall depressing vibe. RIP Alcon spirit!

It starts at the top. Now it’s up to HA, who is also choosing to ignore it. I guess some people just have control issues. Not a good leadership trait.

Why nothing printed on insert? Why no liability for pharma companies who harm? Think about it geniuses
