Apparently we will no longer be able to use Veeva to record calls in the next couple of weeks. This will impact all sales teams. Turns out that someone from home office had the bright idea to save a couple of dollars to switch to a new platform. We haven’t heard a word about training and how much time out of the field we will need to take. Veeva is used by nearly every pharma company and only a company like Sun would make a switch to save a few rupees. This is another failure by Sun and a big FU to us on the field.

Assuming this is accurate and there seems to be no reason it wouldn’t be, this is just another example of Suns strategy of ‘cost-savings its way to profitability’.

Do you know how sustainable that strategy is and what it means for jobs ?

I’m really starting to believe we’re going to see a major shakeup in late Feb or March. This can’t continue.

WHAT THE F! Next thing they’ll take away our iPads and replace them with etch a sketches. This is how you know Mumbai is running the show.

while i understand you may be reluctant to change and learning a new platform, i do not see the big deal? the systems use is to record a call, sample, and do virtual engage appointments. none of this is complex. maybe we will go back to paper documents? that would be great

It's time for us to do the needful and run away from this mess.

This is likely someone from home office or IQVIA. There’s zero confidence in this decision. This is a decision that the sales leadership had no say in to. Look at it this way in that if Sun can’t get its own network to work then how will it get this new system to work as intended? This place is a dump

In keeping with Sun’s strategy, that move wouldn’t be unexpected.
It’s all about saving your way to profitability.
