Exactly half of my team is now Syneos. I’m ready for a package please!

Not a Syneos person left in my area. Oh that right...horrible access here. Not even a Breo Rep!!!

Are all respiratory vacancies being filled through Syneos now? No more direct hire opportunities?

Been that way for a while. The only direct hires are in one of the specialty divisions. I can’t tell you the last time I saw direct hire. It has been at least 5+ years, if not longer in my area.

Syneos will obviously be taking over Anoro promotion this year. But what are the odds that GSK just pulls the plug on respiratory and outsources the whole division?

Not yet 1-2 years. Still need spending money for other divisions.

If you don't like it, leave!
I'd rather have someone who wants to be here.

With Advair, Breo and Anoro now going to Syneos...I can’t help to think that GSK is seeing the financial benefit of handing the business unit over. Think about how much money this would save the company on salaries alone. From what I’ve read, they will no longer be paying severance out the same way very shortly. I just don’t see them hanging onto all these reps and managers very long

Already announced. 8 weeks for all, regardless of years of service.

Not what I've been hearing. Called HR today. They were hesitant about sharing the current severance policy. They said that each downsizing has it's own set of circumstances and that the company reserves the right to offer severance as they see fit. I'm hearing 3 to 6 months based on years of service. Those waiting for a massive payout are going to be in for a big shock.

My friend in HR told me that the 2 weeks for every year of service was thrown out the window at the start of the year. Excluding the federal guidance that requires notification of larger layoffs and a 3-months warn, the new maximum is 2 to three months no matter your length of service.

My friend in HR told me that twice a week she doesn't wear any panties to work and puts office supplies in her squeezebox.
