What’s at plan for most airway account executives these days?

 

Entry level gig for sure. Me too products, nothing earth shattering. $120k’ish, maybe $150ish. Not a bad starting point for device, though.

 

I agree with what was said here. I recently worked for this division. Their tech is ~2 years behind the competition and it’s the lowest sales division in the company. Good products? Sure. Best products? Maybe. Is it what hospitals want? No. Anesthesiologists are, by far, pee-ons in the hospital... most barely consider them real doctors. Nobody gives $$ to those “pharmacists” lol... but every now and then they’ll get a bone thrown to them.

 

WTF is a “pee-on”?

 

Someone who... gets pissed on. Bottom of the ladder. You’ve really never heard the term pee on? Smh

 

Peons for sure, but they’re much nicer than the surgeons and don’t mind evaluating our stuff. They also like getting attention from reps.

 

There are very powerful people who like getting pissed on. Possibly by high-end hookers. Possibly in Russia. Hugely. I don’t know. It’s what a lot of people are saying.

 

Very true! But Anesthesiologists are just north of surgical techs... and are certainly treated like garbage by REAL doctors. Nobody cares about Anesthesiologists, not even the hospitals.

 

How long can this division survive with the terrible single use offering ?

 

Airway is dead everyone is trying to leave this sinking ship. Just roll it up into ent already . Storz can’t make single use products it’s a proven fact .

 

Don’t worry Mr. Mumbles will save us airway forever .

 

This is a great job !! With nothing to sell I don’t have to do anything . No one calls so I get to stay home all day .
