Layoffs 2021??

Heard rumors of Q4 layoffs?? Has anyone else heard about it or have any inside info?

 

Q4 is a ways off, but it’s also a safe bet. If #’s remain flaccid, there will be some trims made, and those typically occur late in the year.

Primary care = layoffs

 

I heard this as well from my dm. A "reorganization" is what he said. Then he proceeded to tell me a "reorg" is a good thing and we need it. Yeah ok buddy

 

Its almost laughable with the current structure.

 

I bet he won't be saying that when he is let go.

How do any sales reps still have jobs? Ya’ll are like roaches that you’ve managed to spend all this time out of offices and still have jobs. Congratulations on survival, I guess. And apparently the early retirement took out the people w real info to share on here.

 

Because we are needed. We bring much needed value to the office. We are a medical necessity for these office's and they wouldn't be able to get updates and valuable information without us. It boggles my mind when people don't think we work. I work hard and make a lot of impact on my providers. Anyways, it close to 1pm, I better get out of bed and make some calls to be home for my afternoon 2pm nap.

Everyone. The sales force will be farmed out to Indian call centers

There are way too many of us diabetes reps.. There doesn’t need to be 2 plus reps per territory! For Pete’s sake, Novo went through a layoff awhile ago and I’m sure we are next!

 

I believe you are spot on. Diabetes is a joke. I bet they will announce layoffs/reorg in Q4. Might want to brush off those resumes and start putting some money away just to be safe.

 

But an amazing drug combo GIP/GLP1 is on the way!! Why would they do that???

 

Because they don’t need that many reps for a drug launch! COVID-19 showed them that!

 

most of our products are not "awesome" which is why they need us.

 

Not true. From yesterdays earnings, most products are up - only cyramza, alimta and taltz are down double digits in the US.
