They are proud. Thanks for recognizing that. I’ve accomplished a lot, but I still have some goals to achieve. Can’t stop grinding, man! I appreciate you calling that out!

Stop with that garbage. Quit making this about race. You can look at what happened in Minneapolis and see that it was horrible police work. There was zero evidence that race played a role. Too many people using this to push their own social causes.

FUCK YOU!!! When someone makes a shitty snide remark like that it is blatantly obvious where they fall in this discussion.

Dude, you just accused someone of being in the Klan, and you’re complaining about their snide remark? I think it’s obvious where you stand as well. I think the original posters point was that people like Kevin are going to use this to grandstand about issues that this was never about.

He does. All these CEOs do. Damn - Kevin has made it clear he wants to run for office, so of course he loves the spotlight and a platform. Why be so offended by something that is true? I like Kevin, but let’s not pretend that he’s someone that he isn’t.

You obviously have never had a conversation with him beyond maybe a possible greeting in passing. Most likely, you have never even come close to meeting him. You grouping him in as "all the CEO's do" is very short sighted. If you had a chance to sit down and talk, you would find he is one of the most sincere people you have ever met. Call it grandstanding if that helps you fit your narrative better, but you are sorely mistaken and obviously very judgmental.

At the end of the day, regardless of sincerity, his social justice commentary is what we're discussing. Not sure what you're getting so worked up about - he's made it clear he's an ultra-liberal and supports the agenda of the far left (by his words) and his campaign contributions (which are public record). I've been here since January, and I've listened to him pontificate on social justice issues on no fewer than 3 separate occasions.

And this is where our society stands today...people like you frothing at the mouth when someone has the audacity to have a divergent opinion from the self-annointed woke ones. Scream louder, maybe the people in the back who don't buy into the "everything is racist" narrative being forced down our throats will hear you better

The only difference between you and me is that you agree with his politics and I don’t. You call it “sincere”, and I call it grandstanding. He chooses to brings politics into work, which most of us have the better sense than to do (and would be fired if those politics were openly discussed and were conservative in nature). It’s just he’s the CEO and has a platform, so he feels inclined to share his beliefs and perspectives with everyone. That’s grandstanding to me and “sincere” to you. It’s not a narrative or me trying to skew reality; it’s just the truth. If you want to tell me that’s not what he does, I’m all ears. But, you and I both know that he wears his politics out front, just like all the other CEOs who want to show how woke they are. Like I said, I like Kevin (and I’ve had many interactions with him, despite what you think), but I I just don’t like his desire to add his social commentary on things.

Agreed. And, I’ve got no problems with anyone believing what they want to believe. It’s just Kevin likes to tell everyone what he believes, while the rest of us keep that out of the workplace.

The fact that you use the word "woke" proves you are a Fox news watching conservative MAGA douchebag. FUCK OFF!

Regardless of my views, I don’t feel the need to shout them at people while I’m at work. That’s the point. I work alongside people like you, who obviously have problems with those who don’t conform to the same belief system while we’re working. That’s why people have always had the good sense to not bring their political beliefs into the workplace. Believe it or not, we can both do our jobs at the same time, even if you support the infrastructure spending package and I don’t. Crazy, huh? But, when people start talking about it it at work, people like you begin getting upset and shouting at them, which makes us unable to work together. I prefer to do my job without hearing stupid insults like the one you spouted above. That’s why I don’t need to hear Kevin grandstanding on a variety of political topics. I don’t care what his views are, and I don’t need them jammed down my throat at work.

I know they don’t care. That’s why I don’t talk about it at work. You sound like you’re finally starting to get it.
