Wow, watching the slow, painful demise of Cetaphil

You hit the nail on the head! We cannot compete with LOreal.

Mgt won’t be content to let Cetaphil die a slow painful death. It will be sold before it’s too late.

Pretty sad. CeraVe is killing us.

    • Remember this: Our greatest weakness is watching from the sidelines. Old formulations, cheap packaging, low investment, ignoring consumer preference, no innovation, slow pace, too greedy, no fmcg capabilities. The list is endless! Cetaphil won’t make it. CeraVe will be crowned the winner.

Sad but true. No hope. Coming to an end soon.

Hey fellow pharm rep here, stumbled on this post when I was looking at my company. I had no idea Galderma had Cetaphil. My kids and my self all go to derm, we have seen about 5-6 over the last 10 years for different reasons (see the NP then the dr, rotation etc). They never say one over the other--even the handouts/pt ed they say use something like Cetaphil or Cervae. JMHO--packaging means NOTHING as a drug rep and consumer. WE LOVE CETAPHIL cleanser. I quit spending tons of money on b.s. overpriced crap from makeup counter/sephora for myself too.

Nothing to worry about. Cetaphil will be sold within 12 months. No way is Flemming keeping the consumer business.

Have you noticed less almost non existent samples and marketing for a new Cetaphil product. A lot of truth in this. Liars in Texas won’t be telling you until the last minute.
