No we’ll keep paying reps to play circle jerk.

 

It will be interesting to see what happens with the Renal and Nest team. Hoping there are no layoffs.

 

I won’t lie and pretend—there are at least 3 “leadership team” members who need to go.

Certainly hope so because the Renal Specialty rep is depending on NEST or PCx to sell Farxiga to Nephrologists. Attended lunch to introduce the specialty rep to a group of Nephs (whom he should have known), but he could not answer any of their questions regarding diabetes, HF, and the lineage of indications. Our training when moving people to different teams is no longer industry-leading, but more like the cliff notes which creates more questions than answers. Unfortunately we’ve had some Nephs take CKD patients off of FAR their PCP put them on bec they don’t understand the value & are afraid of affecting blood sugar.

 

In regards to the training it’s actually gotten shorter over the years. I think now for most divisions the training is close to 3 weeks. With them hiring a bunch of kids out of college with no experience and liberal arts degrees for PCx they come out of training not knowing a whole lot except brand messaging. They have little understanding of the disease state their competitors and basic human anatomy.


Also I’m not even sure what our NEST teammates do. I’ve had my territory for years and hardly ever see them. Endos hardly write our products and use the competition and every STP they look to take primary care accounts and make them shared targets so they get credit for their Farxiga numbers. And they only want the ones who write.

Wow...you guys really know how to bring a drug to market! It's been 6 years since you AZ clowns jumped into bed with the Roxa morons. They fabricate data, lie to the FDA, have a bunch of contentious malcontent losers on their "management" team and you AZ fools still hang in there. FDA Advisory Group votes this loser drug down, yet you keep hanging in there. Most clear thinking managers would have fished or cut bait by now. Keep paying these cretins to do nothing...it's the AZ way.
