Exit Lilly and bring in Bayer all at the same time. In the middle of bringing in Bayer now comes Newco. People have had it. No breaks. Vacation time lost. 60 hour workweeks. There is no light at the end of the tunnel. Add to that more reorgs soon. They figure since Newco is spinning off there will be jobs they can cut. They don't mind heaping more work on an overworked workforce. The IT reorg still has not happened yet. That will come in December. So far FDEs are not being extended. Most open positions are being eliminated right now. People are still leaving the company. It is going to be tough to get investors for Newco so Elanco will step up on that one. No problem. Just cut more people and say projects are "right sized" now. There is no gold at the end of the rainbow here.

Newco is the name of spinoff companies where they don't know the name of the company yet.

Newco spinout ‘primary objective’ will be eventual acquisition by larger entity, leaving the worker bees laid off as larger company takes product and runs with it. Only ones to come out OK will be people at top of food chain (executives).
