Clinics can raise prices on services and most have been. They're not stupid and many have given up most pet food and pharmacy sales anyways. unless they'd already been offering their clients a shop online option.
Online retailers will win …many of the manufactures are partnering with Chewy, like Zoetis, pet owners can buy from Chewy and still utilize the rebates on products and save even more..veterinarians will shift increasing prices on diagnostics & services, lots of competition in that space too with “affordable wellness” clinics opening up everywhere
Just sucks because the world is all about which deep pocketed corporation decides to dominate which section of the market. Swallow the competition, kill off any non compliant stragglers, sell the remains for short term gains and move on to the next target. Amazon and Walmart do it no matter how long it takes or whatever the cost.
