    Big companies could care less about how long anyone has been around. Actually, they would prefer you to leave and hire 2 entry level reps out of college and pay them less combined than 1 salary of an experienced rep since those young bucks will cold call 12 hours a day. Yes, they will leave after a year and bring in new fresh meat to repeat the process. This is the future of med device till management realizes it hurts their brand. Ethicon is a joke in hospitals, doctors know its a bunch of kids running around at scrub sinks.

    What’s interesting is it seems that it’s the middle management from Ethicon Endo driving this perception. A lot of folks refuse to believe the good ole days of scrub sink calling are gone. It just seems the young folks are more willing to listen to their managers and act upon that direction.

    Brand damage is a real thing.

    Calm down, you work at ethicon. If you work extra hard these next 10 years they may let you work in marketing.
