I am PG 26. And I got exceed/strong in the year end performance review. Is there going to be a raise in the merit increase? One of my colleague told me that if someone got exceed, there is good opportunity for him to get RSU or stock options. Is that true?

It isn't guaranteed at PG26, but you got a shot. If you were PG30, then you would definitely expect it. I think it falls on your manager to make it happen. If your manager doesn't push, the little bit of RSUs will just get sucked up by the upper levels. I worked for a wench for 6 years, got that rating one time and got a bigger percent raise. She admitted she didn't want to push back when the LTI numbers came out. It probably meant her getting a slightly lower bonus to give me some, so nothing for me. I left that group and for the next 3 years got LTI.

You must be speaking to the wrong person.

I got LTIs with strong/strong I’m PG 30, and I was told that was rare. I do a lot of initiatives that my department head really favors. Admittedly I was pretty discouraged when I didn’t see an exceed but they smoothed the deal with the LTIs. LTIs are super subjective under PG 40 and at the discretion of the functional head.

I got LTIs when I was both a 26/30. Totally luck and relies on manager as someone has suggested.

I got LTIs my first 3 years as a PG 30. Moved to a different team and leadership was selfish. Not one PG 30 or 31 got LTIs on my new team and there were 7 of us. Leadership was greedy, less they give to lower levels, more they get for themselves. 1 year later and 3 strong performers and 2 average performers left the company. Back to getting LTIs at my new company and they matched the LTIs I was losing by leaving with a sign on bonus. All depends on the team and leadership.

Hey, I got an 'exceeds' rating last two years with LTI. I also got laid off in March. Can't get so much as a phone screen since. Be grateful for what you get and stop complaining.
