Remember The New Day Study? Back in 2020 their former CMO stated “Alimera expects to incur approximately $13.5 million over the next three to four years associated with the NEW DAY Study and to fund these costs with existing resources, cash flow from operations and the redeployment of other clinical spending.” With the current financial results how can they continue to pay for this and run their commercial operations?
By the time the study reports in 2024, aflibercept the comparator drug in the study will be near to patent expiry so the competitor landscape will change and customers will not be interested.

  2. Brian made this comment on Yahoo Finance about the current $2.50 share price “Alimera’s founder & chief con (Dan Meyer) created the narrative for investors to trust his vision of building a $2 Billion company once they achieved FDA approval in 2014…let’s fast forward to see how closely his remarkable skill set has brought his prediction of his $2 Billion empire has come to fruition…ALIM has a whopping $20 million market cap…just a little under the original prediction of $2Billion…only 99% off…which is exactly how much investors have lost but I doubt highly Dan & his BOD’s have suffered at all from his false predictions…in fact I predict they have increased their wealth substantially since they continue to pay themselves w shareholder investment and extension of “partnership” injections of funds that disappear every quarter given they have NEVER sold more product than their expenses…what a sham & where is accountability? Karma??”

  3. MESSAGE FROM THE SUPREME LEADER AYATOLLAH EISWERTH
I wish all my fellow Alimerians a Happy New Year. This year is your chance to find a way and get it right for the first time. Let’s show those sceptics that we do have the better mouse trap. Now get out of your homes and meet some customers or I will fire the lot of you!
Best wishes to you and your families.
    Rick.

No final year end ‘22 numbers have been presented yet???? This can’t be good. My guess is they will wait until they have Q1 to share in order to offset the disappointing Q4 / Year End 22 performance.

What new ophthalmology products will Alimera be launching in 2023? I had a call from a headhunter who said that they had just completed a deal with another company. I can’t see any press releases on their website. It sounded like a great opportunity to get in when the share price is low as the package they are offering included some stock. Anyone got any other info?

Not really. Same product, different treatment. Retina still super cautious to use due to increase in risk of IOP.

I think the purchase of Yutiq makes sense as it is the same product as Iluvien so the reps will require very little additional training to be effective. They already sell Iluvien for this indication in Europe so know how to promote effectively to uveitis specialists. The company can now focus on promoting in an indication that has no vegf competition, which is much easier and cheaper to influence customers. This will greatly lower the cost of promotion and increase profitability in the long term. A great strategic move. Now they just need to find some additional high value/high margin products for their reps to carry in their bag when they are visiting ophthalmology offices and the cash will roll in.

now turning point, Alimer lost all Sales reps. and the medical team in germany. so howe on earth they will grow sales in germany. little question to ricky?
So you buying revenue for 75mio to get al more growth. makes your depth from 450mio to 530mio.
you loosing every year about 20-30mio. now you have a growth with 75 mio invest (youqi licenc for US)
a growth about 250 pieces in two month. (Eyepoint sold 200 each month) .
your max growth from 1000 units per month will be only 20% (btw bought with 75mio and some paimends)

so you telling this is an best invest , howe on eath this will workt out with new treatmend coming ,
and howe on earth any controller without braindamage give you more money to burned in your house.

unbelieveble , this place messed up

You're right. It is a sh!th0le in Germany. Because the employees in Germany all want something for nothing. They want to get paid for not working, going to holiday docs, getting sick notes and staying home "sick". They just want more, more more and give nothing in return. Do the rest of us a favor and go get a job somewhere else. With that attitude, you are easily replaced.

now the sh*thole , has pusht 155 units increase for yutiq with 39 Account manager in an half of a year! means 3 units per AM. You are best men in the room with that.
Perfect Ricky dicky. as soon as the licens paiments starts in 2024 you will have to increase this to 530Units (340%) for the next 6 month. also you have to pay the license for Iluvien in 2025, you are done! this hole is a mess . hope you and Velan Capital cleand up, becaus this fraud will be interessting for the SEC.
