Word went around about the third quarter results will determine if the company needs less employees. Just a rumour. Who really knows?

Hey CEO. Are you aware that a cnc set up specialist whatever title became a team leader????
    withing the same department?????
It doesn't matter if everyone appears to like that person
    popularity/politics doesn't matter, that's a violation of the law
that person shouldnt be in that position within that department
and documents are out of date, it'd be sweat justice if people take pics like jason loser does and show an external auditor that people are doing what they "memorized" instead of you lazy execs updating the procedure to show the exact process.
so much lawsuit material at that company.

    Priceless:

They force Permanent employees to work over time.
    Employees quit.
They desperately hire contractors that cost MUCH MORE MONEY to pay than the original employees.
AND THEY'RE STILL DOING IT!

Geniuses!!!! Hire more. Hire an assistant team leader so they walk around and do nothing for the company while the big wigs lose even more money

Just to be fair. Currently we have new management in Largo. I will address the PMO component for now. The issues of Capitol will be addressed in time.

Currently in PMO we have a new director of factory managers. Not really sure what he does as he reports to
our current site leader Cotter. Cotter as well as our former site leader Gersen Gabriel worked for our largest competitor Stryker. What I can tell you is that our current on the floor management team is only doing what management tells them. The truth is that if you eliminate Marc and let James with the support of Brenden as well as guidance from senior employees plan and make decisions you could see an actual increase in profits and productivity within months. Should have made Rob Kalo an offer he could not refuse. This current situation would have never happened on his watch.

Rob Kalo would fix all of this. He should be site leader. He'd fire the no lifers, and everyone else would get steady small raises for performance ratings. He'd clean up Conmed within a year. He is a no b.s. guy. We have lazy politics as managers/team leaders. They just guard the prisoners and keep them in line. FORCING people to work? Check out Frito-lay

The workers were forced to work over 80 hour long weeks. They up and left and waited for the greedy big wigs to get their $#!t together and do the right thing. If only Conmed employees would come together instead of acting like adult children and finding ways to avoid working while fighting each other.

And now we continue to hire employees with zero experience at 14 an hour to make products used in surgery
around the world. Scrap and dollars lost are off the charts.(Not reported) Our quality policy has gone down the drain as our current management only see's what they want to see. Just take a look at Conmed insider trading reports. You will quickly see who is cashing in on our hard work everyday. CNMD Insider Trading - CONMED Corp - Form 4 SEC Filings

This co. Is a joke. Old SQ people just take care of and promote each other. Morale is in the toilet. Won’t be surprised when they get bought or start laying people off because no one wants our stuff

The current morale in PMO is not what is presented here. What we do have is an old school experienced work force that shows up and does the right thing day after day. Unfortunately we have been subjected to a yearly overturn in management. Current factory management in PMO is a good family man although he is not the guy for this mission. We have a potential leader who listens and quickly understands and relates with quick response to problems in PMO. James Sweeny. Let's make PMO great again.

Welcome to the club. Actually Conmed PMO is a great place to work. Unfortunately there are really no positions for associates with laser etch and saw being the exception. Current management has burdened experienced PMO employees with the task of cleaning up all the fuck ups and scrap produced by these associates. If you don't believe me then just do an audit. Not sure how they continue to cover up all this scrap cost. We also continue to promote and pay more at the specialist level for new hires that do not have the qualifications for the position. Crap in, crap out. Just saying. We were a much better company where quality is concerned paying PMG talent 78 per hour of which paid the PMG experienced MACHINISTS 35 dollars an hour. They were guaranteed 50 hours per week. Good guys and almost zero scrap cost. So I ask current management, talking to you Marc. With all the hidden scrap costs. How do you sleep at night? Karma is your bitch. Probably a good time to walk away.

James Sweeny continues to do a good job. So we have another C.I. in PMO once again. For the record we previously has a C.I. guy. Bill Jackson. Did everything asked of him. Time study to the second on processes for improvement. Sadly for our company we continue spending the same money over and over for the same studies. This has been an ongoing problem as PMO has a very high turnover with management. Sweeny with the right team to advise can be the new future of PMO. I hope to be on that team.

    Where's the scrap going?
Are numbers being manipulated to seem productive instead of destructive?
Are people still being forced into constant overtime?
Are people being hinted towards a one sum bonus instead of a raise?
Are you really that naive, or you pretending to be?

It's crazy to think they still hire managers and team leaders/coaches. I wouldn't want this job. You cannot solve any problems when the budget is so tight and controlled by hedonistic self centered people.

If anyone is caught saying the things typed out in this thread, they might have to drop down and do push ups. Ridiculous managers think this is the military, so toughen up, get the product out, and overtime is never going to be voluntary anymore because you are owned just as long as you stay here.
