Has anyone noticed that Arthrex employees tend to be completely without a soul?

I know Reinhold thinks he can throw more money at any problems his company encounters, but my question is more about the people who work for him and sell themselves to this foolish way of living and thinking?

I know that Reinhold and his select minions of VPs think they are God's gift to healthcare and med devices, but reality is a hard nut to crack. Reinhold's right hand, Larry, is the biggest example of total incompetence facing Arthrex. This guy is a total nut job. If arrogance were pennies, he'd be a billionaire, and yet Reinhold taps him to be his right hand.

Enough said. This company is an absolute shit show led by disastrous management. Run far from them if you haven't already.

Arthrex is a mess, they have completely changed the way they pay their distro’s, train their reps, etc. If you’re not a the principal owner, VP of Sales or some other level of Mgt in these distributorships you’re not making money period. This job is great for young kids coming out of college that need a job and experience. Arthrex did away with paying commissions 2 years or so back. If you were used to making a certain dollar amount you now have to work twice as hard to even come close to making that money you were used to under the previous commissions structure. Arthrex does not believe in paying their reps period. They mine as well go direct cause that’s essentially what they are doing by controlling these distributorships. It’s sad, this place used to be a great company to work for. They now have saturated the market so there is no need to pay top dollar to reps to get business. They have it already. The headquarters down in Fl is a juggernaut and they have done a phenomenal job of training residents and fellows so that once they are out they are using Arthrex from the onset. I can write a novel on how the distributorships are poorly run but it seems my peers on this site have done that for me. Cheers

  8. This is not new news. This company is a truly the most morally bankrupt in the orthopedic industry and its leader is a total scoundrel. I'd be embarrassed to work there. I've seen it from the inside and he's even worse than you describe.

Obviously Arthrex fired you for stupidity.

Can confirm. Larry is one of the most inept/insane people I’ve dealt with in my professional career. Expanding his role and putting more people under him will force good people out (myself included). He’s a cancer to the organization

Larry is a toxic person to work for and around. Arthrex culture is so horrid, you have to drink the cool-aid or you’re ostracized. Be very careful to anyone who accepts a job with this organization. The fish stinks from the head down on this one.

Arthrex business model is all about control. They flood the territories with entry level reps, cut commissions and make it nearly impossible to do $250K+…
This is the plan. Why get on GPOs when you can just have a revolving door of 1-2 year reps making $60K? Maybe they should “innovate” a business plan that makes sense so people will stay?
