Been here 22 years and have always been told Medtronic has the best benefits the best perks and that’s why your salary is dollars higher because of the great! Benefits!

Today they cut over $2,000 off Annual reimbursement expenses. A far cry of the benefits that were given when I was hired 22 years ago. So sad

Most intelligent people always knew your company sucked.

    Think for one minute.

    Look who is left.

    Still sucks. Your company blows.

It means that Medtronic keeps trying to grow by cutting….this never works long term…ever. Geoff Martha and his financial engineers don’t know how to grow a business through GOOD acquisitions or investing in R and D, so what do they do…they cut expenses. A 15 year old can cut benefits folks, we pay our executives millions to make calculated risks. If people really think about it, a well run local Kroger’s manager is far better than the guy we have running this $100 billion ship. Geoff please do the corporate world a favor and retire, please.

I thought it was just me. Benefits suck balls since KP’s free cash flow challenge.

Car allowance and technology reimbursement, but our MAN, Mr Marta and team lost 40 percent in stock price but all got raises.

You have to keep in mind that the old American company Medtronic Inc of Minnesota disappeared in 2015 in the reverse-merger with Covidien PLC of Ireland. Technically Covidien PLC acquired Medtronic Inc, then Covidien PLC renamed itself to Medtronic PLC. Medtronic PLC is just a cutthroat company based on cutting costs, reducing headcount, financial engineering, cutting quality, & marking-up prices on cheapened products.

Legacy Covidien was brutal. They ran as lean as possible. With a get it done or we'll find someone cheaper to hit deadlines. Seems MDT adopted that thought process as we see it happening again.
