I just heard this morning that sales rep layoffs are happening. Supposedly not based upon performance. Since the end of Q1 there have been a substantial number of reps taking the bonus check (if they received one) and running, and their territories are not being backfilled. East AD Risor has resigned and his position is not being refilled. Can anyone add to this story?

This company is spiraling. Can’t make up their minds about the appropriate and effective course of action for anything. Beat their chests about this “brilliant” idea of combining the entire sales force, and kept bragging about doing it in a way that prevented layoffs…and then they proceed to create an environment that forces people to leave aaaaaaaand then lay people off. What a joke. First rate $hit show.

New sales leadership brings change. What you are seeing are people leaving because they know they were so to be discovered as non-essential or non-productive. Take your pick. Vendemia did nothing with iovera. Giordana did nothing, ever. Eaton, well, he at least he was sober. Smolko followed Gio like he's done before. Now they are all at Tela Bio with Mr. Do Nothing Murphy. Match made in heaven or hell.... *The Reiser update was hilarious. He was always such a douche.

This company is a dumpster fire and I can’t believe the board of directors doesn’t recognize the leadership are the ones at fault. It’s like high school at the top with everyone trying to prove their way is better than the other one. Complete at total disaster.
Beside lack of leadership this company lacks a measure of accountability. Dennis McLoughlin is the king of shape-shifting. He was a marginal AD, abolutely terrible handling the DPS disaster, and has done nada as Commercial Customer Officer. Had never heard of this title before. Sounds made up. Just finished a lunch and before heading home for the day I thought about a couple "managers" mentioned directly or indirectly and thought I'd do some research. So Vaughn Schouten claimed to by a D1 basketball player. He was, averaging 1.0 points per game. Isaac Smolko had 1 catch for 5 yards in his entire career. Justin Sherrod probably had the most successful career reaching AAA and hitting 33 Homeruns in two seasons. Gio Vendemia quit the Penn State football team after two years. And one asks, why does our leadership suck?
