Hi, interviewed with j Cartwright for Philly spot and was hoping to get some feedback. Seems like a good guy but some of what I’ve read here conflicts with what I heard: A-$- Refruiter said 180/190 at plan, but manager claims 220 at plan. Recruiter claims $300K + is realistic. Manager also claims the you get paid at 54% of your quota. B-Manager also claims average tenure is 5-7 years for reps, and that management is rep friendly. Said they’ve redone comp plan mid-year before because not enough reps made $. Also claims that last year 40% of reps hit numbers, but usually 60-70% hit. C-Territory I’d get is around 70% and apparently has ton of room to grow. Claims numbers down pro dominantly because “they haven’t seen a rep in 3 months.” Seems a bit off as this was a niche product right? No other option? And they haven’t written because a rep hasn’t bought lunch? D-Kester voodoo and another iteration of life vest is coming? E-Micromanaging a thing here? Rides once to twice a month and weekly recaps?
F-Think I read here there was decent rep turnover, and 4 open spots in his region, attributed to normal comings and goings of sales reps, no reasons in-particular
Didn't you get the answer you need to know about the position, by reading the info in your own second post?
Your questions lead me to believe you lack character and brass balls. You won’t do well here. This is a spot where top earners from all device companies converge to have a chance to make stacks of paper in a high stakes game.
I can't believe that you're actually asking about this. Zoll has been "revising" the comp plan for over 10 years as reps are not making goal. That alone should tell you something. When a manager tells you there is room to grow means you have an uphill climb to meet your goal. In my experience, you may make your goal for maybe the first year and then after that good luck, This job isn't for people that want to stay in a career long term. If your goals is a few months of employment maybe. But why would you switch jobs for a few months? Employees are treated horribly here as well.
