July 1st Respiratory ceases field promotion, going digital. I appreciate BI waiting 6 months for potential placement or opportunities elsewhere. What I don’t agree with is if an employee declines placement then they lose severance. Unfair to tenured representatives.

I agree 100%. No one wants to get placed in one of those stupid Metabolic PCP jobs where you are tripping over all of your counterparts.

really? with all the lay-offs happening across the the Pharma fruited plain I would think you would be thrill to have a "placement" job.

Some of us have invested wisely and can retire comfortably without having to do some stupid Jardiance PCP job. Start saving your money so you’ll no longer be a slave to an industry that’s gone to hell. You’re spending all your time logging fake calls and doing milk runs with a manager. It’s pathetic.

Lol whining on cp is not exactly what I'd call retiring comfortably but go on.

Older managers also get placed in PCP jobs to avoid severance.

Severance at BI is extremely generous. Take it and run if offered.

Yes pathetic (Manager is infrequent) but the pay is good. You should know right? That's where you got your income from I'm sure.

Have you ever noticed that this company is ALWAYS going through a reorg/downsize? Why would any one work here? Get paid yes, but work, no.

Very had to stay motivated when a severance package that one is hoping for might not happen because of a placement offer that someone close to retirement declines and therefore forfeits their severance. The company should do the right thing and give it to them.

But Bob Johnson said they cut really deep in August 2009 so they would never have to do it again!
