Anyone recall what the formula was for severance package when layoffs occurred two years ago? Considerations for years of service or age of the employee? Thank you.

 

8 weeks plus, 2 weeks for every year of service.

all regions and functions got these rumors, something is brewing but no one knows what or when. its also been brewing for a while so maybe nothing is happening for real

Will it be soon or a couple months into the fiscal year like last time?

 

No one knows. If it is similar to last year, it will happen the first week of the fiscal year and everyone will be out before the next one.

 

If you have a company car, just check your insurance card to see if the expiration is in April. That is how I alerted the rest of the MED team that something was amiss right before we were all unceremoniously let go

 

it runs April-april bc it’s concurrent with our fiscal year. Be better.
