Okay, I am new to Pharma (hired back in August) and was a part of that split of RI and CVRM. Ive been lurking on here for a while and wanted to get everyone's thoughts. What's the future of CVRM and what is happening May 31st? Obviously we got not much (any) information from the regional meetings a few weeks ago. Id love any clarification from anyone. Thanks.
You've got that wrong. Lay offs coming to CVRm because Andexxa is not performing. Renal is struggling & that's also a watch out..... I don't think Farxiga has anything to do with it. They've got a runway
So...do you think layoff will happen this year...? If so, when ...? And would all cvrm roles get impacted? ....when was AZ last lay off , covid ?
It seems to be doing ok? I mean they are still hiring for cvrm since I saw job poatings (not many but i did see them).... but I'm not sure how they would keep hiring if they are doing a lay off? Maybe if they hired contractors it would mean something else ? What does everyone else think???
I would say since they are hiring we are fine in the short to medium time frame. They are not going to invest in interviewing, training, etc only to cut someone within a few months. The ROI doesn’t make sense.
I would like to know this as well.. does anyone know if there will be some big announcement coming this year???*
ROI is no longer a thing in the corporate world. Look around. It's all about keeping up appearances (or at least saying you are). Companies are no longer merited on profit. They are allocated funding based on the latest ESG fad, like your cute little electric car
Has this been confirmed yet and when? Was just asking cause I was thinking to apply but... not good to hear the news .
International Consultants in Sweden currently working with Upper Management Leadership Team mapping out the CVRM reorganization worldwide. This is known because it involves HR and Finance with Counselors brought in for services. Late Lifecycle Products are being discussed to determine optimal time to restructure. CVRM will be the first by end of May Worldwide.
CVRM has a huge ax hanging over it's head right now. Just look at all the turmoil in the past year or so. This notion of new hires not being let go shortly after being hired is nonsense. It happens all the time. You are a commodity. Nothing more, nothing less. CV will eventually go the way that GI went.... into the history books. Remember Prilosec and Nexium? Blood will flow in the streets soon. It's all good until its not.
