More like the SS Minnow. Won’t be a sales force at all before long. Sad and pathetic what Avion has become. Excuse me, Alora or whatever the f**k it’s called this week

There are only 3 types of people who work in sales here:

1.) youngins who are dire to break into the industry. They usually hop in 2ish years onto greener pastures

2.) outcasts from big pharma who can’t get a role anywhere else. Same applies for a DM. DMs want to coast and get paid for it.

3.) People who are looking for a career change and didn’t research the hot mess of this place then are shocked of what it is

It is a circus because the company wants to sell branded drugs in heavy generic spaces, making a strong formulary position impossible. For WH, no patients want to pay high prices for the drugs offered here. You’re pretty much screwed if you don’t have decent formulary in this industry. The positives about Avion is that you can sit on your ass for weeks and nothing will change in your territory. Maybe beg a few doctors for more scripts and you’re good. You can take a month off and backpack around Europe and, honestly, your territory might even grow!

yes this is exactly right. They have a stubborn bullheaded approach to push branded generics (hello Balcoltra) into an all generic space. They do this because they won’t/cant bring a new molecule to the market so they must make do with retread products that no carrier will cover on formulary. This business model worked ok for them a decade ago when it was iron products and vitamins but when you start playing outside your sandbox amongst the big pharma companies with yet another retread (hello dhivy) that nobody will cover then you get your ass handed to you.

Shannon’s 3 year anniversary was yesterday. Anyone celebrate with her? Didn’t think so. The long line of people she negatively impacted are all waiting for karma for her, sadly it will be karma for this company too. Doors will shut before June.
