FAMs, another obsolete role

The VA contracts are based on cost, so why do we even need FAMs? They are MIA until something goes south and then buzz around trying to prove their worth by directing OTHER roles to counterbalance the looming losses. HDs can strategize with their TAMs without these part time middle men.

Finally someone said it! We do not need someone to sit at home and just provide performance views of accounts. They seem to just rely on the TAMs to get them appointments. I couldn’t believe that this team survived.

Isn’t that the same thing the HDs do. Rely on TAMs for appointments and then provide unnecessary updates? Anyone else on a “silent sabbatical?” I’ve been and I never felt more connected to what really matters in life. Netflix and gummies. Everyday is a new adventure

FAMs can’t even pretend to have any kind of substantive work and are sweating bullets. Explains the sudden and lack-luster appearances on ecosystem, role-based, and TA calls. Ask what they do and they’lll share the same military acct slides we’ve had for two decades.

it’s hard to even know who these guys are. I don’t think any of them has said or done any thing meaningful to actually impact business in the 10 years I’ve been here
