Potential timing of next layoffs?

Are there any educated guesses as to the potential timing of next round of commercial layoffs? The last two I experienced were both at the end of the second month of the quarter. Is there any consistency to when they normally would do it?

Right before next global town hall/q2 release. Obviously they need a stock pump.

It’s very simple to google: ‘NJ Warn notifications’ then open the document and scroll to BMS. All the dates are there. No need for speculation on here…

The WARN act means nothing to sales reps. It would only affect NJ reps. Reps will have no warning. It all sucks just waiting to get an email to stay home and a call or no call. Times are brutal

Dates are taken directly from NJ Warn - but this only applies to drones in HQ or wherever in the Garden State.

10% or greater in the field are going to be cut.

I looked up Warn Act dates in NJ and what was posted here is correct. Where does the 10% from field sales come from?

WARN in California was only for the SD site but then in RWC a lot were laid off and that site is up for closure. NJ WARN was for LVL but let go a lot more than 75 on 22 Apr itself though it was supposed to be over these many dates and from locations other than LVL. WA had no WARN but several laid off. The company is unstable and everyone needs to be prepared with their resume. LT can't be trusted with what they say.

This is true. The overlays and DALs are up first in dermatology. Imagine having almost three people calling on the same accounts and your growth isn’t anywhere near 10 percent much less 20. What a waste of resources. Glad they are scaling back.

No idea but based on Q1 numbers of Eliquis. And Still growing, plus how many people are leaving they really don't have many people to lay off until closer to patent exp

Exactly. The WARN postings are a guide only - they aren't enforced or adhered to - its just covering their ass to post SOMETHING on record. For instance, the round in my org that happened in November 2023 wasn't listed on WARN. So you can't use those listings as concrete knowledge. As always, BMS is shady so just be prepared to be wacked at anytime thru Feb 2025!

People don't seem to understand WARN notices. They aren't required for every layoff, and you can waive WARN if you provide adequate severance, which BMS does (both via extended notice of termination and pay at term). The low numbers you see on WARN only reflect short notice layoffs and for individuals which will receive insufficient severance..
