no question. Between OES, gps trackers, truck the fuck, Joaquin the buffoon, and expecting stupid growth on a 7 year vaccine, fun times in the VBU. I wish the entire sales force would leave and Truck and Joaquin had to sell. Imagine those two trying to see doctors without a lunch. I’d pay to see that conversation.

this is true. Been here a long time and wish it was me. My role not what signed up for. Customers doing well, no complaints, new contracts and what did I get? I was moved to a role I have zero interest in. Want out so bad. I also have no respect for how they lied to my colleagues. Who could work for these people?

1% better! Did you get your free $100 in GSK attire though! Hope everyone burns it. At least we had the amazing memories of the aquarium, Abby Wambach, free candy at Mercedes Benz stadium, sitting with strangers for the awards, and Joaquin yelling for motivation! Memories that will last an eternity! $20 million dollars worth. UNITE!!!!

I’ve never been able to figure out why the VBU has so many constant changes and reorgs of product mix, territory alignment, and portfolio management. It’s counterproductive to growing the business and establishing stability with offices.

Don’t forget the people on stilts. What a waste of money. Such a slap in our face. We can throw $22M away on a useless meeting and displace great reps two weeks later.

Everything will be back to business as usual tomorrow, Monday. Go make a difference and prevent disease.

and don’t forget the girls walking around in the middle of the dessert table. I’ll never forget the impression that made on my professional career. Truly inspiring. This entire process and months of dishonesty from a company who literally talks about doing the right thing and transparency is incredibly comical. 22 million could have kept some good reps, but no worries you can go interview for open positions to continue being employed by these amazing leaders. Piss off.

Just goes to show how absolutely clueless leadership is about the importance of relationship building with our customers. Constantly changing territories and roles is maybe the dumbest thing a company could do. But then again they also think reps can just stroll into an office and see whatever doctor they want because the doctor is on the A list. So tomorrow, everyone stop in to their most difficult no see doctor and let the receptionist know you need to see Dr Smith because their opportunity engine scheduler said they’re important. Without a doubt they will let you back for 45 minutes to discuss how Shingrix is free for anyone with Medicare part D. You’re welcome for the helpful advise.

I have no idea what the goal of Fridays call was but it was an epic failure. The only upside was to watch in realtime asTruck and Joaquin doubled down on their horrible decisions.

not to me to mention that the drs on OE don’t seem to include independent stickers or large multi dr clinics.

Let’s also not forget the new position Truck created for project diamond. John Perkins deserves part of the blame. This project started Q3/Q4 last year and John did not have the balls to push back on this “Pharma” model that does not apply to vaccines. A lot of good people could have been saved with a simple hiring freeze. Shame on all 3.

LOL at thinking that saving jobs is *ever* a consideration with these incompetents.

I actually found it comical the nonstop laughing emojis for the duration of the call. People were literally laughing at every word these clowns spoke. That was enjoyable to see.

So back to the displacement question, were the contract teams and public account manager seemingly not impacted from the recent cuts?
Which role or roles were slashed the most?
    Thanks.

Just remember Pfizer was the one that let go of a salesforce in the middle of COVID. Good luck with that.

Think you missed the point. Your VBU exercise is about evolving a new ecosystem. Not about cost cutting. If you have too many bodies in 1 area you have cut. Just like every other BU has done and every other pharma company if you paid attention to the broader announcements. It is all over the news. Biopharma has shed more than 7,000 jobs this year alone. Sorry you are going through it. It sucks. It really does. But it is our new reality in the industry. The quicker people can understand that the quicker they can have a game plan for their future.
