At least at first hall hands, came across as breath of fresh air relative to the rest of the CPO org. what impact he can make is TBD. other thoughts?
I imagine E was quickly and totally shocked at what Genentech has become since he left 6 years ago. It is no longer Genentech, but some total circus run by DEI fools and kiss ups. You can kiss the ecosystem model goodbye, and expect a return to accountability. Hopefully he will also encourage a clean house in regards to the bloated number of incompetent HD's. I imagine Papa Roche is eyeing him for the top spot, and this is a temporary smoke screen to size up all the incompetence rampant at Genentech. His experience and version of Genentech died several years ago.
DEI is a handout/welfare for incompetent non performers. It really isn't that hard to figure out the PC / Woke / DEI movement is a farce.
