I recently spoke to the rep that replaced me....You won't believe this but he told me Applied lied to him. They lied on income, and what shape the territory was in. He told me he is already looking and hes only been here for a few months.....No one likes a lier....I feel sorry for everyone who works for applied except the shit managers and in house trainers who could not make it in the sales world.

There were 13-15 people in my traing class, all but 2 were lied to. Some members on my sales team told me that they were lied to. Shouldn't we start a class action lawsuit?

    Yes they do lie!!!

Two quarter national bonus on a clip applier that they know fails. Real Ethical!

Also new energy device will only fit down Applied 5mm trocars. Hmm I guess the reason for eyes in the back of your head Said, is so that Applied Reps can see when they are getting screwed!

The doc's know it's a socialist company, but management is starting to buy its business.

An oversized energy device to accompany their oversized ports? Obviously, surgeons will love using all EES/USS 8mm ports in accounts where Applied doesn't have the trocar business. Idiotic.

Yeah, try to sue Applied - you are just a stupid sales rep. We will win everytime. Get out and sell some product and shut up - you probably only deserve to make $65,000 - so that's what we are going to pay you!

If you were a better rep and would spend some time in the OR rather than complaining on message boards, you'd be making more than $65K.

I was with Applied for about 1 1/2 years. The recruiter, DM, and RM misrepresented the position. I was told I would make $120 to $150,000 my first year. I was also told my territory had a lot of room for growth. What they did not tell me was the REASON for growth. My territory had NO business due to failed evaluations. I left a very reputable employer for Applied, then walked into a very bad situation.

Due to very bad product performance and a poor company image, my territory could not grow. Without warning, my DM "demoted" me to a TMA position. That meant less pay, and limited (if any) commissions. I also had to travel to "assist" other TM's for their evaluations. My expenses were not fully reimbursed (as promised in the interview process.) Yet I was expected to put everything on my personal credit card.

During the interview process to get away from this company, every hiring manager stated what a horrible, unethical, sleezy company Applied was. Fortunately, I didnt have to mention this and look like a disgruntled employee. I just accepted the situation because I knew Applied's tactics. If I said anything, I would be terminated. As we all know, its easier to find employment when you are employed vs unemployed.

It seems certain people are protected at Applied. The best day of my life was when I left such a dishonest organization.

I wonder if we could get a group of people together to form a class action lawsuit regarding the following facts:
    1. Misrepresentation of position in the interview.
    2. Misrepresentation of average salary.
    3. Hiring people for TM positions and demoting without warning.
    4. Not paying commissions when earned.
    5. Not fully reimbursing company expenses when on "temporary" reassignment for evaluations.
    6. Promoting employees from TMA positions to TM positions WITHOUT increasing base salary to TM pay.

Please talk to people within the organization (as well as those who have left) and see if enough could come forward to help change the structure of this evil organization.

So how'd that anti-trust lawsuit go against J&J? Or, would you like to take a moment to amend your: "we win everytime" statement? And how's your lawsuit with Covidien going? Oops, didn't mean to make you choke on your koolaid.

We did win against JJ. Did you even read the briefing? Or did you only read the JJ press release?

Why don't you collective losers stop complaining. I manage in the West. I earned this job through hard work and hitting my numbers. You pathetic non-achievers stop complaining and perhaps then, you could hit your numbers. I faced the same challenges in the field. Guess what, it is competitive out there. Stop hanging in Starbucks, start selling - not complaining - and then, perhaps just then, you will see what I set out to do; to be successful. If not, put on a Huggies, and cry your way to unemployment checks.

You are full of crap. Also, Applied does not have any quality managers in the west. Another point, most of the people who have had success at Applied were in a low market share territory, walked into hospitals with their pants arounds there knees and said " are my pants low enough, if not I can lower the price another 20% " It is sad to say but Applied Medical is a company with NO ethics or morals, and you mr manager are one of the people who happens to be the problem

I always sold at list price. I was the difference in value added due to my excellent and respected relationship with my surgeons. I wear scrubs with suspenders, have never had to drop them, unlike your sad asses.
