What part of clogged pipeline don't you understand?

When they do start to fill the positions they will be filled with external hires. That is the Novartis way- excite everyone about the "opportunities" on the horizon, then tell internals applicants that they are not qualified. Look at Seralaxin..... Look at MS...

NVS gets a hard on when they can hire from the outside. On top of that, the same people at the top control all the hiring decisions and if they do not know you, forget it-

Nice culture NVS. Not only are reps not hired, but the RDs and DMs usually come from the outside as well, then they hire other cronies and the cycle starts all over again. Does that answer your question?

Don't worry, there won't be any positions to fill as we will be getting ready for another down-sizing. Writing is on the wall. Just look at the fantastic pipeline we were supposed to have and now, nothing. Arcapta - huge disappointment; seralaxin - will definitely go to outside hires with great deal of cv experience. Oh yes, what happened to the 4-5 other meds for 2013-2014? Disappeared!

Don't worry... TekAmlo is on its way as Exforge loses exclusivity early 2014.
