How much longer before Spine gets moved to Warsaw?

Who knows for sure (one or two years) but one thing is for sure, it's matter of when not if.

Are you kidding! He got promoted to Market Development Manager for North East Region! Here in Biomet Spine, more you screw up higher you go up in management! That should be the slogan for the company.

The comment above is indicative of the stupid distributors and sales reps who never read their emails in this company. How does having to report to Bill Tucker ( a regional VP ) amount to a promotion?

The real issues stem from the mediocre management like Valentine, Donnelly, and Curry who are running this ship into the ground!

Just had a whole slew of people resign over the Christmas break. This place is in an uncontrolled descent into oblivion. If you are considering working in this environment you should seriously consider the state of the business and how it's ineffectively run. There is no future in Biomet Spine, only continuous disappointment and broken promises.

Who else left this sinking ship?

Cindy Colucci, Jen Berman, trauma design engineer (who was slotted to go to Spine - nuff said there), one in ops, one in QA.... at this rate Curry, Valentine and Donnelly will drive everyone to quit.

Only ones left will be the shit crew who brought this company to where it is today, Rui Ferrer (mentored by dork SOB Kirk Bailey), Gretchen Dougherty-Shah (who can't get a product designed right the first time) and Bill Messer who micro manages every f'n decision it slows the company so it can't even compete with half dried cement!

What a mess! WOW! The are non existent in my area of the Midwest. Some old vets in Chicago said it was a huge outfit but now just a bunch of inexperienced pretenders.

That's because corporate management has essentially forced significant turn over of the sales force. No longer do they have the seasoned medical device reps they did at one time, and now the distributors are pulling them from the "outside" - we have former real estate agents, car sales, and copier machine sales folks making up the first line of contact with the customer. This is the cluster that gets created when you have nepotistic JnJ folks and residual inaffective Biomet managers trying to "rebuild." Glen, your pyramid is built on quicksand.

Glen, two words for you and your JnJ lackeys... "Mass Exodus"... stay tuned.

Mass exodus? May have been precluded by the re-org that took place and the 23 people that were shown the door on Tuesday.
And several others that are being told their jobs in NJ will no longer exist but can try to apply for a similar position in Warsaw.
Those that are left - are being told to drink the Kool-aid.

The cool aid isn't terrible, just sugar free.

Does anyone else hear the faint strains of the Moody Blues "Knights in White Satin" playing in the background all while Kashuba is whispering gently in your ear: "it's okay, just drink the Kool-aid..."

    Breath deep the gathering gloom
Watch lights fade from every room
Bedsitter people look back and lament
    Another day's useless energy spent

I heard close to 50 people were let go. This place is slowly sinking!

One other thing, what the hell happend to the cervical disc they are suppose to be working on?!

50 no. But more people will leave given the lack of true leadership. This ship is definitely sinking, and the management is milking the private equity firms for comp until they atre the last ones left.

Cervical disc? Biomet Spine couldn't wipe its own ass.
