I really liked Michele. What happened?

Michele Wickwire was a great regional manager. She cared about her people, she looked out for her people and she more than anything trusted her people. She will be missed by quite a few people.

Absolutely true. Michele wasn't afraid to stand up for her people and her ideas--even with a very diverse and politically-connected boss.

I agree that MW is one of the best. I worked with her a few years ago when she was a Regional Manager out of the Denver office. She knew how to run a meeting, was candid and considerate of her team, well-organized, led the team in strategic development ideas and was a stand-out leader in many ways.

Anybody that stands up for unique ideas at Pfizer is squash. Be good like little blind sheep. Trust the sheepherders.

Think about it... why keep anyone on the payroll who can think outside the box when senior leadership agreed to put Pfizer in the box? Vision and leadership are liabilities in Ian's new world order, and so great people (like MIchele) got replaced by robotic clones.

Agreed. Michele was an excellent leader. Ian wants more socialist europeans who can squash american innovation and ingenuity with marxist drivel.

Maybe the Brits need another good old American ass-whooping to climb back in their shell?

The core problem we have now is the inability of the euro-socialists to understand the mind of the american worker. Americans like to work hard to gain financial reward. That seems to be a foreign concept to them. They expect drones. That is why every single perk and incentive has been removed. Yet they still expect engagment. weird

Sorry to be a naysayer here--but Michele was the worst RM/SD I ever worked for in Pfizer. Constantly played favorites and bad-mouthed people she did not like. Glad to see her gone. Maybe now I will have an leader who I can respect.

Are you now, or have you ever been, a member of the Communist Party?

Did you do your job well, contribute to the team, and earn her respect, or is everything about you?

Ask not what you can do, only ask what can everyone do for me?

Michele was a great RM for me. She had more than a clue ( not common today) and was open minded ( not common in Pfizer). I wish her all the best.

How could it be anything other than a "foreign" concept to them? Americans are foreigners to them, you ______________ (insert random insult here).

That is the point idiot. Take your false intellect and crawl back in your hole.
