Stop embarassing yourself. You have not made 1 valid point in the entire thread. Go back to your Tony Robbins self help club or better yet "back to selling Goji Juice" as supplemental income :)

    There you go again.

    Pay attention.

Are you reading anything I've written? Rather than reply, please go reread my valid points against your aging relic of a company, and try to defend it with anything other than "blah blah blah orthopedic, blah blah blah #3 to #1, blah blah blah niznick"

    Hahahahahaha

That's me laughing at you Mr. Zimmer/Kool-Aid

LOL Even though I think you're both stupid, I wish you worked in my market. Yes, I work for Zimmer and you are exactly the rep I like to compete with. You're so full of yourself and your "searing" blab is no different than the other posts you so eagerly share with everyone. In truth, we're laughing at you both. Keep it up - I'm sure you're making yourself proud.

Both of you guys PLEASE shut the F@ck up!

Both of you sound like those two old dudes who argue all the time in "Trading Places."

One word to shut you guys up>>>> ENCODE!

Sure, the Zimmer Rep can talk to the surgeon about their "better mouse-trap," while the others talks about how it's way too expensive for unproven technology in the dental arena.

Meanwhile, I'm sneaking in there and saying "oh, Mr. Specialist, remember that 3i case with Dr. So and So, yeah, here are pics of the final restoration, based simply off a scan that you did for Dr. So and So. How much did the restoration cost you ask Dr. Specialist? It cost the GP less than $600. Yes, Dr. Specialist, the case was there waiting for the patient first visit with the GP two weeks after your scan. Your welcome, it was a pleasure working with the GP group practice. In fact, they asked me if I sold the iTero. By the way, how is your inventory, I see you have a bunch of those new Zimmer Trabecular Implants. How they working for you? Oh, you've yet to try them? Maybe I can do a competitive switch just this one time. Yeah, I know the Zimmer rep tries hard, but the GP's want what they want. Tell the Zimmer rep that I may need an Associate Rep if they are interested. Yes, you can pass my phone number, just make sure they understand the compensation is greater than what they are making now. Oh, yes, we pay from dollar 1, they get paid on growth. Listen, if they are a quality rep, I'll listen to them, I have interviews lined up all next week.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend you idiots!

Yeah paid from Dollar 1 with $0 in Total Sales annually. Great gig. Sell your soul to sell shitty products, hurt clueless patients, and make no money while they change your comp structure every 6 months. Great career. Keep talking man. This is hilarious!

Oh yeah.....hows encode doing in the anterior when someone wants to provisionalize? I'm sure taking the impression in that case is simple, just like the posterior. When ur next surface comes out how are you going to answer for the fact that it doesn't have nanotite tech? Also, I heard the new Osseotite is not made from an alloy, why is that? Please explain....Its like throwing a whole bunch of shit against the wall and hoping something sticks.

What good is an encode abutment if the implants keep falling out of the patient's mouths?

3i beating anybody outside of Palm Beach County? HAHAHAHAHahahahahah

I think you just named the only company hemorrhaging customers worse than Nobel!

Take a look at the numbers disclosed by Biomet itself. Although we are private, we follow the same accounting principles as set forth by the GAAP.

With that said, we release our earnings prior to ANY major player to set the precedent of earning season. So if you were to turn to the page where it list 3i's contribution to Biomet, you would see positive high single digit to low double digit growth in each quarter for this fiscal.

As for Nobel, there stock is used for toilet paper. Straumman has respect on my end, but it's the same story, they are a pain to do biz with.

As for Zimmer, guys, the numbers don't lie, you guys are god awful.

Implant Direct has little effect. I will tell you MIS seems to be the best player in the value market.

Yes, we get paid from dollar one. Don't hate it, come join us. We may have an opening or two, and no, we don't cover relocation cost.

Wow a 3i guy. One of the few remaining. So answer this, why is their a "mass exodus" from your organization now if things are so good? Zimmer makes 30% ROI for Zimmer. You really don't know jack when it comes to corporate accounting and earnings statements. Stick to lieing to your customers about why your Implants keep failing. You guys are really good at that!

Oh boy- here is the Zimmer academian again... it is lying. Just like you guys do when you tell your customers that they can use the fixture mount as a final abutment- against what is written in your surgical restorative guides? Is that what you mean by "lieing"?

Go back to rearranging your Yellowbook "Rep of the month" certificates...

    HAHAHAHAHAhahahahaha!!

Implant Direct, MIS, Neoss, and BioHorizons are the only companies I see encouraging Dr.'s to use the Impression Posts as final abutments. You must work for 1 of those companies as it is common speak there. The Clone companies are the best at lying to the Customer because their products suck and all they have to say is "there cheaper" and "they work" so why not? Problem is nobody tells the patient they are getting the "cheapest and lowest quality Products" on the market and the Dr. doesn't even pass on the savings to the Customer. Great business model!

Let's be honest, cheaper doesn't always mean "lower quality product". The product is fine, you're paying extra for name recognition and possibly better service depending on the local rep.

Be honest with yourself. Cheaper = Lower Quality & 0 Research. No reputable Dr. is going to represent a Company like that unless you pay them loads of cash. You be honest.

Wow- you really are pretty thick. Let's review your lapses in intelligence here:

"...the only companies I see encouraging Dr.'s to use the Impression Posts as final abutments"

My comment was " it is lying. Just like you guys do when you tell your customers that they can use the fixture mount as a final abutment"

Do you see? Let me take you to school once again. Impression posts are different from fixture mounts. You just verified my point. They are two different things- not one.

Next, you claim that the companies listed advocate using the impression copings as final abutments. You are right on 2 of the 4- the other two you are wrong. I'll let you do some work and figure out which is which.

Third, once again you are batting exactly .500 (which, in this case, is not a good thing) when you claim that the companies sell from the perspective of "it's cheaper" and "it works". (Hint- it is not the same two as in the former point.)

Finally, thank you for highlighting for us all (reps and clinicians alike) how poorly trained and misinformed the Zimmer sales team is on their own implants as well as the selling philosophies and education in general on their competitors. Also you keenly show us all that you don't read or spell very well. Well done!

    HAHAHAHAHAHAhahahahaha!!!!

Keep up the great work, Zimmer! Thank you!

I know what problems it could cause but I can't see what problem it solves. Zimmer's website references a number of studies on its Screw-Vent with 98% success and it's brochure shows that the tapered Screw-Vent had high initial stability allowing immediate loading. Zimmer sells HA coated implants that will bond with bone. With Screw-Vent's long-term success rates because of its proven surfaces and tapered with threads over the entire surface, there is only one reason to now promote a Trabecular implant with a straight porous surface replacing half the threads - charging an extra $50. Because of the increased potential for complications if the porous surface becomes exposed, and fracture because the center core needs to be reduced in diameter to make room for the porous material, I predict this implant will go the way of Innova and NobelPerfect.

No, it doesn't mean lower quality. Every implant made costs under $40 to make. Dentists pay for the name and support. And we've already been over the research excuse isn't true considering Nobel launches implants every year with no research and sells it for top dollar.

A few observations and comments on this entire thread:

    1. Zimmer will make gains in a few accounts with their new trabecular metal implant. It's interesting enough of a sell that some doctors will buy in. Unfortunately, they are not known on the dental side for innovation, so most of the gains will be with their own customers spending more per implant, not converting accounts. No patients will be moved to "pay more" once it's explained to them. That was a useless statement.

    2. Zimmer is WELL known for discounting more than any major player. It was a scam to begin with, selling a Niznick HA coated implant for $390 list. Even Niznick is smart enough to know they aren't worth half that. I've seen Zimmer discount 40%.

    3. The hahahahaha dude has to man up and reveal who he works for. Those "ha's" are played out by the way-get a new tag line and make some sense for a change.

    4. 3i has a lot more market than just Palm Beach. Having said that, doesn't anyone find it suspect that all the 3i guy can discuss is Encode? It's as if he doesn't want anyone to look anywhere else into 3i "technology". Hmmmm. Talk to some labs, by the way. Your precious Encode isn't thst accurate beyond a single unit, and too expensive in most situations. No one needs custom on all cases, and it can't hide your implant failures. Surgeons ultimately care about that first, not what a GP tells them to do.
