    And for that,...we thank you.

    Signed,

    Your competition.

P.S.- Didn't the leadership at Straumann pay attention to what happened to Nobel when they "went after the GP's"?

I think you may be missing the point.......how is your specialist going to feel about your company "going after the GP's". I agree they probably wont use this POS implant, but they are also going to stop using your premium systems once they hear about your "master plan" with the GP market segment.

    Good luck to you.

We have the specialist were we want them I want 100% share of wallet or I will convert neodent to the gp's who are not using Straumann
We can't lose we will grow the with added implants from them or take em. No mercy to all you lovers who sell crap implants at a Straumann price.
Our vs of sales Gina said at nasm with neodent we will go from the number 1 implant company to leaps and bounds ahead no one can catch us. Wait till you see our study on neodent this is one if the top implants out there.
After the AO meeting we will take all your customers you can't sell for under 125 so you will sink.
    Good luck

If you talk like that to customers at the AO meeting you won't sell a single one. English clearly isn't your 1st or 2nd language.

I made my first sell 100 neodents to a perio who uses 50% Straumann with some bio and Zimmer. Needless to say he will be using all Straumann from now on.
This feels like stealing it's so easy.
    Watch our stock soar

The reps at Straumann are clueless
Hope you bought all your specialists some lube before the AO launch of the P OS neodent to all.
I know a doc who was in Brazil for a year and said neodent which he placed was failing about 30% and comparable to a home depot screw. I love how you never sell on price now you sells pitch will be ours is cheaper.
Straumann sales reps i know are robots but can't say I have knew any for vary long because turnover is 40% and sales is run by a few over the hill guys and a former education coordinator oops I mean president of US sales. Sorry Gino
Straumann blows always had and will.

Fellas Fellas Fellas, this is a troll looking to rile things up, so forget him/her/Pat (u know, from SNL back in the day).

Bottom line, Straumann will have two sales forces competing against one another. I can see the scenario's popping up throughout the country. A surgeon questioning the Straumann rep regarding a Neodent rep targeting their GP's. How will the Straumann rep explain that? If you have not noticed, the press release, nothing has the Straumann name behind the U.S. launch. And for good reason. Straumann is trying to build a 'firewall' to insulate for as long as possible the pairing of both companies. The true test to this will be at the AO, or any upcoming major meeting for that matter. If NeoDent is in the same booth as Straumann, then that's ballsy. My money is that they are NOT.

The firewall technique may have worked prior to the internet or social media. But not today, to boot the other competing reps spreading the truth to the Specialists. It's going to come from all angles and it will be interesting to see how the damage controls is implemented.

Other major players may attempt to do something, because the other truth is that the value market does exist. It's a question however of whether a dual brand strategy is the way to go, or simply offer a choice to the GP's, without the same support a specialists would receive.

    Time will tell.

You have it all wrong neodent is based out of Brazil and is its own company it's set up to help train and support GP'S with placing implants and will not sell to specialists. They will not be part of strauman and will be separate entity they paid us a fee to use some of our packaging techniques that's it.

My guess is you are just here trying to stir things up, but if this really is the "message" Straumann is going to try to use with the specialist's in the US to justify this horrific strategy, I'm just gonna sit back and watch the sh#t show play out. This is going to be funny.

Do you hang a sign around your neck that says "Press my nose" and then you spew the above? This here is not a carnaval. Specialists are going to sniff this out one way or the other. It was one thing that Neodent was marketed through out Europe, "Implantologist" are accepted there.

Here, it's another story. Yeah, there's travelling perio's as well as GP's who place, but it doesn't warrant a sales force (for one thing) to go after them. To boot, then to go after new GP blood and convince them to spend time on courses to then have them place?!? I mean this is borderline corporate suicide. Best thing they could have done was come up with a no frills line and just sold them direct to gp's via call center. No rep support, just basically a "hey, if you think you know what you're doing, then here you go.." strategy. That the specialist would find entertaining because eventually, the GP will f it up. Then guess who gets his business back?

I just talked to one of the neodent reps at this meeting and they are actually Straumann reps here is neodents address
60 minuteman rd andover ma wait isn't that the exact same address as Straumann it is. Same customer service and it's manufactured in the same room as Straumann. At this meeting they are telling docs this is a 100% new company that is selling implants for 125 to help train and teach GP how to place affordable implants.
It's a brilliant plan for Straumann to go after the GP market without undercutting their speaclists except most specialist have Internet and won't be fooled by neo new phone number all they have to do is a tour of headquarters to find out their 100 implant is being made right here at Straumann.
The package they are running here are buy 20 implants get free implant training and a surgical kit. Implants are 125 abutments are 45 it looks like a piece of junk to me. All neodent is being run by RSD of Straumann as of last week named tony out of NY.
Come on do you really think your specialists won't find out

I grabbed some neodent brochures and no where is Straumann mentioned they are also doing implant training programs all over the country starting this month in AZ they have flyers with the next 10 locations. This might work for a while. Straumann invested millions trying to keep their name out of it. I am hearing even ITI is doing a study on how this implant integrates.
The reps are creating buzz with free comprehensive implant training. Their sales force now only has 12 Straumann reps or neodent but they are hiring 50 more in the next 2 months it's all on the neodent website. The free implant training is valued at 9500 it's a good deal for a inexperienced GP. Straumann might piss off a few specialists in the beginning but long term they will be light years ahead of any loss in revenue.

Straumann has hit a all time low screwing over all the specialists who already overpay for implants and parts is a slap in the face.
just lower your discounts to 50% for top customers would be better then going behind their backs with a POS knock off

    Today's press release March 13th 2014

Neodent dental implants in Brazil has said Straumann is expected to increase its share to 95% in 2015. The Neodent brand was launched in Spain and the US in the fourth quarter. Straumann also acquired 51% of Medentika, a rapidly growing German provider of low-cost implants and prosthetics for a number of implant systems, as well as 50% of Spanish company Createch Medical to offer low cost abutments. This will allow them to compete in the value implant market.

I think it funny that they have the same address as Straumann. I think people would be surprised to know that their corporate is at the same location.

I love how you can hear crickets from Straumann reps since their cover was blown about neodent. All this we don't sell on price or to gp's and the best I don't know anything about neodent sooner or later all your customers will know the truth.
Straumann is liars and would sell their soul and their speaclists to make a quick buck.
Good luck losers even though you think your specialists got their heads in the sand any of them can use Google.
