About The Company


This organization is a medical device company that is focused on the manufacture and development of new and innovative microsurgical instruments used in the treatment of ocular diseases. This instrument is used in a minimally invasive procedure that has resulted in far less frequent and severe complications than other procedures. This is a privately held organization that is building a new sales team to market their newly developed devices to ophthalmic surgeons across the US.



About The Position:



The ophthalmic surgical specialist will be responsible for calling on Ophthalmologists and Ophthalmic surgeons in the region. This is new technology, so the sales rep must have a solid working knowledge of ophthalmology and related surgical procedures. The sales rep will be responsible for bringing this new technology to market, so must be comfortable presenting highly technical information to leading surgeons in the region.



This position provides incredible potential for advancement and growth. This is a start-up venture, so we are searching for entrepreneurial-minded individuals looking for a ground floor opportunity. Total compensation will be well into 6-figure range. The package will include generous stock options (pre IPO), full benefits and all expenses paid.



Skills/Qualifications:



To be immediately and seriously considered for this outstanding opportunity, you must have the following.



§ Current or recent background selling Ophthalmology products. Surgical background preferred, but not required.

§ Documented sales performance in the ophthalmic market…we cannot consider resumes without this specialized experience.

§ Should have solid selling and presentation skills and be able to transfer technical information into an effective presentation.

§ Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to travel when needed.

§ Great business acumen with a driven and personality.

§ 4 year degree
