What is REALLY happening!!??

Here is a thread JUST for actual facts.
Not something that was said in anger at a smoke shack, not speculation, but something that was told to you by a trustworthy source. I've heard enough rumors and badmouthing him/her to last long enough....If you KNOW something lets hear it. There are plenty of other threads for the ranting.



I'll start with, I don't know a thing right now...my level is too low, and I'm not my manager's buddy, but I do know that my manager has 'spilled the beans' to several other people in my group.

I can tell you that managers and Sr. managers don't know anything either. I got the sense when talking to my director that he may know more than he can currently let on. So any directors or above out there want to give us a little "under the table" information?

Director's must have a good idea but they won't say unless they get canned.

Managers are never in the know and probably as vulnerable as we are.

We will have to wait and see ut don't buy into the "I've heard...
Speculation is pure bullshit most times and makes others crazy.

final day to submit VTP was today, friday, sept. 7.

a lot of very good people i know are taking the package and running with it. sometimes i wish i qualified for it.

I'd like to know how many took the VTP.

I'm hearing that Sr Mgrs across the site (ARI) already know #'s. That means they have a pretty good idea of the who's. It sucks when they tell you 'we've gotten some information.....but we're not at liberty to discuss it'.....COME ON people, there have to be Managers out there that can give us something to pacify us for a day or two.

How will Amgen do the layoff?

1.Come up to you and bring you to HR- Can't see this happening, people are going to freak out!!!

2.Send you notification via mail at your house-Maybe

When you show up to the entrance and see the tent that will be constructed over night turn around, call in sick and get 1 more sick day out of them.

Things look pretty decent for today.

Well 9-14 came and went....nobody laid off yet.

AR1 will be decommissioned 10/17.
