What are the strongest analytical markets for Varian in terms of product and geography? I was recently tempted by a recruiter for a mass spectrometry position in the Boston area. Not sure about making a transition from hospital medical devices, although I did work in a lab once using a Hewlett Packard (now Agilent) mass spec.
