Question Recently interviewed with HireQuest ...

I will be a graduate from a major state university this Spring with a degree in Marketing. I recently interviewed with HireQuest which is recruiting for Johnson & Johnson. I was told that there will be future entry level openings within Johnson & Johnson to represent PROCRIT mid to end of 2008. I have a second interview coming up soon. What advice do you have for me with regard to my future success in such a position should I get an offer? Also, I do inspire to transition from sales to a marketing function. How can I best do this?

Best advice I can give you is to read some of the post here as to what's going on with Procrit and the ESA market. Not good! Look elsewhere.

Better learn how to proof read your e-mails: you "inspire" to transition from sales to marketing?

Thumbs up Re: Recently interviewed with HireQuest ...

Pharma/Biotech in general is going through some pretty tough times. You might want to try a medical device company. However, if your options are limited and you do get an offer from J&J as relates to selling Procrit or any other pharma/biotech product, take it to get your foot in the door and to build your resume. But, know when to move onto something bigger and better even if it means leaving the company. This company no longer shows any loyalty, care, or concern for its employees. You and only you are the critical component in self development and success. Recognize when you should move on. Lastly, sales is an excellent way to get into marketing or management. Again, I still recommend pursuing your interest in other companies outside the pharma/biotech sector. Good luck!
