What are the strongest analytical markets for Varian in terms of product and geography? I was recently tempted by a recruiter for a mass spectrometry position in the Boston area. Not sure about making a transition from hospital medical devices, although I did work in a lab once using a Hewlett Packard (now Agilent) mass spec.

would you be kind enough to post that recruiters info on here?? I am in desperate need of some contacts right now!

Are you telling me that Varian doesn't have a mass spec representative in New England? I know that they are several rungs down from the industry leader, but I find it hard to believe, unless some neighboring rep's territory is now double in size!
