Astra Tech Urology

Astra Tech Urology sells the LoFric catheters. What is their market share and if this a good catheter line? Also this div of Astra Zeneca sells dental implants plus the Urology catheters in 2 seperate divisions. They (AZ) are rumored to be selling the Astra Tech this summer. My question is what do you think will happen to the LoFric catheter line. Who would be potential buyers for the LoFric catheter?

Is this a good company to work for in the Urology division?

Be very careful. They lack experienced people and management is immature to say the least. It is an Rx job so you never know if your data is correct. Lots and I mean lots of call notes and trackers!! Reports due once a week and monthly. It would be a ok device jobto break in but, $$$$ are not there.

Morale is low. Base is $60k can expect $15k comm. Very competitive with other manufactures and distributors working against you. Offices are sick of seeing so so many catheter reps! Everyone and their dog is selling catheters!! You are considered home health reps... Below pharma.
