Bill Kiefer is out at Express Scripts?

I heard Bill Kiefer is out at Express Scripts. Anyone know what happened?

This is the start of the merger! Merger has been approved (yay - let extra overtime begin! People who are already overworked will be fired). However, this epic merger will not go the way the comfy STL execs at Express Scripts thinks it will go. VPs and senior directors in STL will be replaced by deals to the Medco New Jersey folks (it will be very pervasive in tactic). If I were the execs at ESI, I would be nervous and take other offers now (abandon ship!) Why is New Jersey better than Missouri? Well, it has a better offshore infrastructure and cost effective, which is where ESI wants to be (redundancy will be eliminated to their advantage all with tax breaks). Also, they will finally close out the BLM office and this person Bill Kiefer was from that area originally (most likely it was his fate all along). So farewell BLM (the old ValueRX) & STL execs and hello New Jersey. Its too bad that all major successful corporations start in STL but leave to the coasts. But it was an awesome merger! (money made big!).

I guy was escorted from the building long before the merger.

Mr. Kieffer was promised by Mr. Ignaczak that if he moved to st. Louis in 2005 when mr. Ignaczak took the helm of the sales division, that mr. Kieffer would become mr. Ignaczak's successor when Mr. Ignaczak took over as pres or bigger corporate roll. Well.......as all things connected to mr. Ignaczak this was not to be . As a result of the merger, mr. Kieffer was going to have to report to a Medco exec. Medco exec referred to mr. Kieffer as full of hot air and eloquent speech but no substance. Mr. Ignaczak failed to helped Mr. Kieffer who had been Mr. Ignaczak's lead person helping Mr ignaczak get his EVP roll. The Medco boys would be well served to stay clear of and do not fall into the Mr. ignaczak's web.

The Medco exec got it right......not much substance with Kiefer and Ignaziak isn't far behind. Paz will do well to clean house and bring some Medco new blood.

I disagree on the comments about Bill. I worked closely with him for years. He's very talented and has great vision. I wish him the best of luck.
