What is going on with TSS? Thought an announcement was coming out today? This company just needs to let everyone know so we can be prepared.

Get a grip, TSS is in the process of being sold. The deal is almost complete. If you have any smarts you will start looking for another job. The only ones that will hang on until they shut off the lights will be GB, WS, and the one any only HT.

You are a dope. Why do you need to look for a job if being sold? Do you think they are buying us to close us down? They are buying us in an attempt to make money. They need reps. Being sold can be a good thing. A new influx of money and products.

You are "partially correct" but to avoid you and others of being overly optimistic consider the scenario I witnessed several. I worked for the #3 therapeutic surfaces company at a time when HillRom and KCI were competing to purchase the company. Ultimately HillRom was the highest bidder. It was obvious that their main objective was the customer list but they ultimately strengthened their position by retaining the top one third of the sales force and integrating them into their (Support Systems, International) sales force.
The moral of this story, as with any field sales position, is: If you are excellent at your job you MAY have a chance to be retained!
Best of luck to you. I know there are some good folks still in TSS.

That is the way it should be. Companies try to make money, not jobs

The real deal:
Of the two suitors has no TSS acute salesforce and the other has less than 20 reps nationwide. I think most will be safe for a while considering the money these two companies are looking to drop for us. The last thing you want is massive change in the customer facing roles such as SC, SM, AE, DSM if the buyer is in this for the long haul.

Funny, you talk to a huntlieghnrep and they all assume they are being replaced by KCI reps. After all the Huntliegh reps know nothing about selling these products

Re: tss
You mean the 4 or 5 Huntleigh reps who are actually selling their product?
