Getting screwed again
Heard from the managers meeting that our bonus will not increase when we sell Amitiza. Instead of adding bonus dollars our bonus pool will stay the same but 70% of it will be Roz and 30% will be Amitiza. Gee, I wonder if PSS is making any more money on the deal of us selling two products. We certainly aren't. Does Takeda know this. What a way to motivate a sales force to really go out there and sell. Double the work for the same pay. OK Kirk let me run out and do 12 Rozerem calls today while doing home study.

You are correct. You're all getting screwed.

Re: Getting screwed again
This is the fun part of the game. And it is a GAME! Make up your 12 calls (get creative and I'm sure we all know how to do that.) Then study in a warm place and nap and order pizza. Take the test, pass GO collect $200 plus. Play the GAME. Did you think that this job was for real? GET REAL!!

An alternative might be to use the opportunity to grow professionally. Nobody is going to ask you to do double duty. You will have the time and resources to do well.
Nobody knows what will happen with IC except the people who make the plan.
The only way the plan has ever changed is to increase the amounts originally promised, right? Everyone got a bonus check this month—even when the original plan called for zero. Never happens.
You have not and will not be “screwed” by this company or its partner—unless we fail to identify, correct, or otherwise overcome the negative impact of individuals who “play the game” as this poster describes it. He really is screwing you. And the only double duty you have is to make up for his clever plan.
Falsifying calls is grounds for disciplinary action up to and including termination. Data entered into T-Rx is a legal document, just like expense reports. It is also time stamped and easily verified. We will be on top of this, but your trustworthiness and integrity are presumed. That’s why we hired you.
And, that’s why even if your intentions are good don’t mess with the documents. It puts us in a bad position with otherwise good reps (the top 80 percent) and it puts us in a great position with those who drag us down (like the guy who is sharing his wisdom above).
You don’t work in a cubicle and you don’t work under a microscope. You do have an extremely important job to do and we need you to do it well. Jaded reps not only perform poorly, they are miserable in their jobs. Don’t be one.

Re: Getting screwed again
Time stamped, my ass! Like, Dude, is it a different time zone when my toes are in the jacuzzi and my doc comes over--no kiddin', and jots down his John Hancock? Does this count as a call? Selling is complicated and takes many forms (no pun intended.)

Re: Getting screwed again
That is a great approach to seeing docs, inviting them over to hang out in the jacuzzi for a cocktail and a blow job. At least you know what you do best to gain market share.

This site is what we make of it. You get your "kicks" by being negative, and spreading nonsensical BS. That's your problem. I get my kicks by pointing out the flaws in your logic. It entertains me. So, keep on posting!
