Layoffs? - Belviq came in at around 28 million for 2013 - when the reduced goal was 150 million!!! Let's be honest no matter how hard you hit the field with your docs, nothing is going to get Belviq close to being profitable enough to justify the Eisai reps and the contract force. The only question for layoffs is when, not if.

I got a call to interview, but didn't bother. First, people that want to lose weight are going to try to do it by eating less and excersing (which is the correct way).
This product will actually never work, because those that think they are going to lose weight by taking a pill are fooling themselves. Its takes work. Add the side effects, and you have a mess.

When does business devlopment get held accountable for the string of monumentally crappy deals?

When your biggest shill/Arena long position dude turns on you, you know you're in trouble.

It's not the third party coverage, it's not the number of reps, it's not DTC, it's the fact that it's not a very effective drug. Knew that before I left the company. It's been dead since day one.
